Macronutrient Status and Soil Chemical Properties as Influenced by Methods and Schedule of Fertilization in Karnal Alfisols under Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) Cultivation

An experiment was conducted at the Regional Research Station , Uchani (Karnal) of CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, India during 2020-21 to assess effect method and schedule fertilizer application on macronutrient status viz. available Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) potassium(K) soil chemical properties i.e. pH, electrical conductivity (EC) organic carbon (SOC) different intervals crop growth period. The laid out in split plot design with two methods (B1-broadcasting B2- band placement) as main treatments four sub consisting recommended doses N K (RDF) number splits days after planting (DAP) T1(five splits), T2(six T3(seven splits) T4(three splits). Results elucidated that availability all macronutrients significantly affected by both main-plot stages Available content found be higher B2 compared B1 time from 75 DAP (131.86 Kg ha-1 ) harvest (145.91 reaching maximum 180 (142.80 ha-1).
